LIDP - Private Dental Plan
Musselburgh Dental Care are now pleased to offer our Private Dental Plan provided by LIDP (Lothian Independent Dental Practitioners).
Our plan is an affordable and convenient way to maintain your oral health with regular, preventative care. In November 2023, changes to NHS dental check-ups and treatments were announced, meaning the NHS now only provide check-ups every 12-24 months. Our plan offers a reliable, affordable alternative with guaranteed access to quality care.

Dental Maintenance Plan A (£19.88 p/m):
2 Dental Examinations per year
2 Dental Hygiene visits per year with Airflow stain removal
Routine X-rays
A more suitable and quicker choice of appointments for you (private spaces)
10% discount on any additional treatment (including implant restoration and facial aesthetics)
Access to the DEAS product (Dental Emergency Assistance Support), providing emergency treatment abroad and out of hours as well as treatment following dental trauma, hospital benefits and oral cancer support.
Dental Maintenance Plan B (£28.62 p/m):
2 Dental Examinations per year
4 Dental Hygiene visits per year with Airflow stain removal
Routine X-rays

Once you have signed up, we will send out your first appointment via email along with a link to complete your personal info/medical history.
If you sign up before the 20th of the month, your first payment will be taken on the 5th of the following month. If you sign up after the 20th, your first payment will be taken on the 5th of the subsequent month.

LIDP out of hours contact number: 0131 287 4799. This is for any emergencies for our dental plan members between 6pm-8pm weekdays and 8am-6pm weekends.
