Chun Kwan Martin Chan BDS - Partner

General Dental Council Number - 103100

Martin graduated from Dundee University in 2006 and completed his vocational training year in a practice in Prestonpans. He started with us as an associate in 2007 and became a partner in 2019. Martin also carries out home visits for dental treatment, please call our reception for more information.

Caroline McArdle BDS - Partner

General Dental Council Number - 103098

Caroline graduated from Dundee University in 2006. She joined our practice as an associate in 2018 and became a partner in 2022. Caroline also has a Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments and she offers various treatments in our practice. See our Facial Aesthetics page for more information.

Anna Maguire BDS - Associate Dentist

Anna graduated from Dundee University in 2022. She completed her vocational training year with us and is now a full time associate at our practice.

Fraser Sim BDS - Associate Dentist

General Dental Council Number - 52979

Fraser qualified from Edinburgh University in 1979 and worked for a year following his graduation in a practice in Dunbar. He joined our practice as an associate in 1980, became a partner in 1985 and the practice owner in 1994. Fraser returned to an associate position in 2022.

Ryan Wallace BDS - Associate Dentist

General Dental Council Number - 283761

Ryan graduated from Queens University of Belfast in 2019. He worked in practices in Eyemouth and Ballymena in Northern Ireland before joining us in 2022. Ryan also completed a Masters in Oral Surgery in 2024.

Avril Bathgate - Clinical Manager/Head Nurse

General Dental Council Number - 118999

Avril started working with us in 1989. She qualified with NEBDN in 1990 and became Head Nurse shortly after. She gained her NEBDN Dental Sedation Nurse qualification in 2005 and became our Clinical Manager in 2023. Along with her nursing duties, Avril is responsible for staff training, CPI practice compliance, stock control and health and safety.

Jacqueline Bowler - Practice Manager

Jackie started working with us in 1989, having had previous experience in office administration and secretarial work including insurance services and computing. She has now been our Practice Manager for over 36 years! Jackie works on our reception and is responsible for many managerial duties including personnel and staff discipline as well as resolving any patient complaints and problems.
